Born in Flamez
Shirking notions of identity, Born in Flamez subverts gender and genre with a panoply of influences somewhere in the nether regions between deconstructed pop, lofi, grime, and classical music.
The project has released tracks on Infinite Machine, Monkeytown and UnReal and collaborated with the likes of WWWings, Ziur and Modeselektor. They have produced with LA based noise trio Health, whom they have also supported on tour. Borm in Flamez supported polyglot OPN in Europe and co–curated CTM Festival in 2018 and 2019.
Recently, BIF has been touring a new hybrid live show based on Impossible Love, which emerged via Infinite Machine in June 2018 and their fresh 2019 releases. Early 2019 saw them touring Europe with US noise institution Health and release a remix record and a FACT best of club rated Single. Currently they are touring Europe with BBYMUTHA and recording new tracks for their upcoming work EMPATHY. It will feature a few friends and a new collaborative live show. November 2019 saw the drop of “Surviving Capitalism” their first single for LA based label FoF. Their new concept work”Dinosaur Shakedown” dropped in December via their own imprint.
